We were absolutely smitten with Demetra and William’s enchanting Greek wedding. We’ve been eagerly waiting to share this one on the blog! From their vision of an elegant farm wedding to the heartfelt ceremony in a bespoke chapel, and the lively outdoor tented reception under the stars, every moment was simply magical. What made it even more special was that both the ceremony and reception took place on Demetra’s grandmother’s property, adding an extra touch of nostalgia and meaning to their beautiful day. Neutral Wedding Ideas + Inspiration

Demetra and William were drawn to neutral and muted tones, so we created their design to have the natural hues of white florals and greenery sitting at the center. When we started the planning and design process, both agreed that they valued their guest’s experience above everything else. In their words, they “just want our guests to have a good time in the place that we love.” Music to our ears!

Building a traditional Greek Chapel on the family property

One of the elements that made this wedding truly one-of-a-kind was the remarkable effort taken to create a custom chapel specifically for the ceremony. They chose to replicate a traditional Greek wedding chapel on their family farm. Trust us when we say that this architectural gem was simply awe-inspiring. As the guests eagerly gathered around the chapel, Demetra and William exchanged their heartfelt vows. The whole setting felt absolutely idyllic. You felt like you were attending a royal wedding.  It was an unforgettable ceremony, that’s for sure!

An Outdoor Tented Reception

We love a family property wedding because of the freedom it gives us to design something unique for the couple. The gorgeous sailcloth tent provided relief from the sun as guests enjoyed dinner and dancing throughout the evening. For a personal touch, they hired a Greek band for entertainment for their guests to enjoy. On top of that, Demetra and William sat at their sweetheart table for toasts and to enjoy the food they had carefully selected. They both wanted to make sure that none of their guests went hungry. Overall it was an incredible evening, and it was worth all of the work behind-the-scenes to make it a reality.
