As wedding planners, we always keep our eyes open for Hudson Valley wedding venues. In fact, our owner and lead creative director Angela has offered consulting services for new wedding venues on more than one occasion. We know what a difference a great wedding venue makes on your wedding day, and this is why we are so passionate about getting it right. Our couples trust us to guide them through this decision, and we take the responsibility seriously. We are incredibly particular about which venues we trust with our couples’ wedding day. After all, we don’t work with ballroom wedding venues and we don’t do traditional. With unique wedding venues, execution needs to be flawless. With all that said, here are four new Hudson Valley wedding venues that have caught our attention, that we can’t wait to work at in 2021 and 2022.

Hutton Brickyards
We are planning and designing a few weddings at
Hutton Brickyards this year and honestly, we can’t wait! Hutton Brickyards is a stunningly large industrial-chic venue, where we can truly build our couples’ designs from the ground up. Hutton Brickyards is also located right on the Hudson River, which makes it the ideal wedding venue to show your wedding guests all the beauty Upstate New York has to offer. They offer two different wedding reception spaces on-site and can accommodate guest counts of up to 600. All of their wedding locations offer the same industrial aesthetic, and most offer incredible views of the Hudson.
Callicoon Hills just opened this year and is a welcome addition to the Catskills region of Upstate New York. For couples where a majority of guests are coming from out of town (which is most of the couple we work with), Callicoon Hills aims to be an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of New York and has 65 guest rooms for your guests to enjoy. Callicoon Hills is a barn wedding venue and fits well with a minimalistic, modern, or even rustic wedding aesthetic. However, don’t feel limited because we love to mix and match unique styles so we create something unique every time. Their barn wedding venue is just the perfect starting point.
The Eldred Preserve
This new Hudson Valley wedding venue just opened this year and we have to admit, they wowed us during our site visits this year. We can’t wait to head back for our couples’ weddings.
The Eldred Preserve is set up to truly enjoy the nature and beauty of the Catskills Mountains and offers the most incredible backdrop for your wedding day. For couples with a more intimate guest list, you can buyout the entire property with 28 rooms and enjoy complete privacy (2-night minimum). Don’t worry though, if you need more rooms there are plenty of accommodation options nearby. Keep in mind, The Eldred Preserve is best for couples with guest lists between 50-150 people.
Lundy Farm is a private estate-style wedding venue and with over 30,000 acres of forest surrounding you, you will feel like you are in a whole other world. On the property, you will find a regenerative organic farm and a greenhouse, a yoga studio, saunas, an inground pool, a 7 bedroom mansion, and 5 bedroom guest house. Lundy Farm is perfect for micro weddings and intimate guest lists and can host up to 100 people with outdoor wedding locations available. One of the things we love about the Hudson Valley and Upstate New York, in general, is that it often feels like a whole other world just two hours north of New York. Lundy Farm combines the feeling of freedom with an abundance of nature. We can’t wait to return for weddings here!
Choosing a Wedding Venue in Hudson Valley in 2021 or 2022
If you are planning a wedding in 2021 or 2022, we would encourage you to reach out sooner than later. With all of the postponements in 2020 and 2021 (not to mention those that loved the one they were quarantined with enough to propose), there has been a high demand for wedding venues and space is extremely limited. We don’t say this to scare you – that’s not our style – but only to prepare you. If you are ready to start looking at wedding venues,
