New Year’s Black Tie Wedding Inspiration
Our team joined forces with some of the Hudson Valley’s most talented vendors to put together some sparkling black tie wedding inspo. Read on to hear more about the details and to get inspired to plan your own black tie affair!
We love a classy, upscale and traditional feel mixed with a little fun in an industrial venue. The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls fit the vision perfectly. We decided to take the industrial hipster fun vibe and class it up a bit for a more formal affair. To start, we dressed up the table setting with a sparkling black glitter runner and black silky linen. To soften the look we chose a color palette of white, ivory and blush for the flowers. For a bit more festive and warm feel, we incorporated a bit of greenery to accent the chairs and place settings.
Next, we chose to build out design our design around the tablescape. That made it super easy when it came to choosing are paper suite. The invitation was glittery, fun and sophisticated all wrapped up in one little package. Check out all the sparkling details of the paper items below.
We wanted to create a few elements that were less traditional and a bit of fun. We jazzed up our escort card display with a mix of birch wood, wintery greenery and black velvet ribbon with a sparkle. This later was repurposed as a hanging display of photo booth selfies.
Cake, Confetti and Champagne…
In addition to the selfie station, we wanted to create a fun and festive send off for the happy couple. As the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s eve, there was a confetti toss and champagne bubbly bar as the send off!
The creative credits for this inspo are below. If you are dreaming up a sophisticated black tie event with a bit of a twist get in touch with us. We’d love to hear your vision!
