We can’t think of a better place than Audrey’s Farmhouse and Greenhouses for a modern Hudson Valley wedding. This summer wedding day had a combination of modern and rustic design elements.
We were truly excited about the opportunity to work with Heather and Ian at Audrey’s Farmhouse. They were one of the very first bookings at Audrey’s before the greenhouses and barn were even built. It was a big risk to take booking a venue site unseen but totally worth the risk when you are a visionary bride like Heather.
It was such a fun journey working with Heather and Ian. One of our favorite parts of working with them was just listening to all the creative ways they wanted to make their day personal. They took on more design and DIY projects than most couples choose to, but they were certainly on top of things. We love how they incorporated some amazing personalized elements into the wedding. Some of the bigger DIY elements created by them included the backdrop for the ceremony and the wood donut wall, both built by Ian. Heather took on a bit of creative work as well. She designed and embroidered a custom denim jacket and handmade candle favors for each guest. My personal favorite element of the wedding was the pretty invitation suite, which they also made.
